- and help to promote and support the Canterbury Writers community.
The successful applicant will also be invited to attend planning meetings once a quarter (once every 3 months) as we plan for popular writing events throughout the year.
The successful applicant will be encouraged to contribute to the blog on the main Canterbury Writers website and the Canterbury Writers newsletter. They will also be encouraged to post informative articles on the Canterbury Writers Discord server and/or Facebook group to spark conversation among the community.

Qualifications Required:
Applicants need to be writers, but do not need a publication history. The passion for writing is what is sought.
Applicants must have a valid Gmail email, so they can access our calendar. (We use Google Calendar to maintain our calendar of events. This system is then automatically filtered through to our website and our Discord server.) Training will be provided on how to utilise the formatting tools.
Applicants must have their own Facebook accounts and Discord accounts. Membership to the Canterbury Writers Facebook group and the Canterbury Writers Discord server is a requirement for the duties of this role.
Additional Information:
All successful applicants will be given the training needed on how to use the Discord server and the tools at their disposal. Training will also include how to use the formatting tools within Google Calendar, and any additional features that you might need associated with Facebook.
